Captain_Wang
Well it's obviously something you're doing wrong if it's on the compatibility list to be honest.

Nashy
How can you blame MS. Its not like they HAVE to support old games. You bought the darn thing knowing right well not all games are supported.
+Dick Montage Subscriber² Posted January 31, 2007 Subscriber² Share Posted January 31, 2007 Its not like they HAVE to support old games No, but they DID claim they would aim to. And if the game is on the list of supported games, then he has a point. How can you blame MS Part of owning a console rather than a computer is that you shouldn't need to be troubled by issues such as patching, etc. Consoles should (lol, yeah right) just plug in, insert game, play. Admittedly, MS are doing their best it seems, but in the odd case it doesn't work, then they should be there for support - which I'm pretty sure they are! Well, I guess that would still be better than saying you will be 100% backward compatible and then not being 100% backward compatible. Either way, it seems to be an individual issue with his game since it is on the BC list.
Shadrack
well all i did was burn the updateupdate my xbox i enter hitman contracts nothing What did you burn and where did you burn it from? If your XBox 360 doesn't have access the Internet then you may have problems getting old games to work. Whenever I pop in an original xbox game that is compatible with the 360 that I hadn't played before the XBox 360 has to jump online and download what it needs to get that game to work. If all you are doing is updating your console, then I think you maybe just updating the console OS and not necessarily installing the update you need to run the game that you are trying to run. You bought the darn thing knowing right well not all games are supported. I brought the darn thing know right well? Are you my brother, father? I acutally brought it not knowing this fact. I don't see old xbox games are not compatable all over the box do you? This is not a thing everybody knows, and if i did know would i have posted this thread, think and keep you useless, ignorant comments to yourself. And anyway, it IS on the list so it's something you are doing wrong. Connect it to the internet and try updating it that way.

Connect it to the internet and try updating it that way. I always just thought that would be able to play original xbox games, because they are obviously going foward with 360 so i just assumed that anything before that would be compadable. Never the less. I think a mod should close this now that i have found my prob, so that this thread does not get out of hand. Cheers
