v0ltage789
No - you made it sound like all Crackdown discs would have beta keys, and that's not the case. The beta doesn't start when Crackdown is released - you won't just be able to go and rent it and get a key. That's the point.-Spenser No - he didn't - you are acting like a fool. All he said is he was going to rent it, and I am going to do the same.

i4get75
My son got up at midnight the first day to play for three hours and I registered as soon as the site became available and I still didn't get in. That really sucks! I guess I'll have to wait till retail comes out because Crackdown is not a game I want my son playing.

magik
The halo sign-up came about way before crackdown had any mention of a beta invite, though. Wrong. Cuttz
Wrong. The three ways of getting into the Halo 3 Beta were announced before the Rule of Three program started. Wrong. and you need to stop with the wrong buisness cause its not, making yourself sound bad... You didn't proove my point wrong at all either, you just made a new one. And that "rule of three" you're talking about? at first, didn't mention crackdown. It was originally reported: that the "Rule of Three" required you to play at least three hours of Halo 2 matchmaking between Feb 1st, 12:01AM EST and Feb 3, 11:59PM EST and then register at Halo3.com. And that was all that was required, they didn't mention crackdown till later on. Please just stop trying to play Mr.i'm always right, its tiring. Are you telling me that prior to February 1st at 12:01 am EST (when the Rule of Three program began) that there was no mention of a Halo 3 Beta invite included with every initial launch copy of Crackdown? I'll answer for you: TeamXbox.com Article Dated Jan 25th, 2007. And that wasn't even the first mention of the invites being included with Crackdown. And, last time I checked, January 25th came before February 1st. So, yet again, you are wrong.

If you double check, i said that when the beta was first announced, there was no mention of crackdown. (here you go: http://uk.xbox360.ign.com/articles/748/748270p1.html ) (from back in november last year, just so you know) but you my friend, are trying to say stuff about a rule of 3. which i didn't even bring up. I think you missed the point. Try to play close attention this time.... here we go... I didn't apply because I was getting Crackdown regardless. So I figured I'd give a better chance for others to get in. Glad so many Neowinians got in (Y) :D I did not apply to the Rule of Three (to give others a better chance of getting in) because I was going to buy Crackdown anyway. The halo sign-up came about way before crackdown had any mention of a beta invite, though. The "halo sign-up" can be interpreted multiple ways (3 to be exact), but due to the topic at-hand, one must assume "Rule of Three". If you meant otherwise, then it was your oversight in not indicating so. However, I gave you the benefit of the doubt and tried to spell it out for you.... Wrong. The three ways of getting into the Halo 3 Beta were announced before the Rule of Three program started. ^ Reiterating my initial point. Wrong.[irrelevant rambling snip...] At that point, you should have realized what I was talking about. And the fact that you said my statement, "The three ways of getting into the Halo 3 Beta were announced before the Rule of Three program started" was wrong indicates that you have your facts all mixed up. but you my friend, are trying to say stuff about a rule of 3. which i didn't even bring up. You don't have to bring it up. It's the topic of this thread. Believe it or not, it's always "up" for discussion in this specific thread. :gasp: :D
Cuttz
You try too hard, i really just don't give 2 ****s about when the rule of 3, halo 3 beta, or crackdown confirmation came out. okay, fine, you misinterpreted it, but its not like it was hard to. The only real sign up to it is when you actually sign up, online, which was confirmed back in november as i showed you. I wouldn't call buying a game with a free invite, "signing up". You can go ahead and evaluate everything i said or smile to yourself cause you think you're winning a pointless and stupid arguement thats going no where at all, with pretty much neither side right or wrong as we're not talking about the same thing, but i don't care. No hard feelings. Who gives a **** when it comes out though eh? can't we just the re-joyce the fact it IS coming out?
