Pentaborane
Is it possible to buy a 360 pro without games bundled in? Because all the bundles I've seen are not games I want - so would just be waste of money for me.

Ironman273
You should be able to walk in a store and pick up a box. I don't know if it's different in Canada.
Kraftman
It is different in Canada, but you aren't losing any money getting the two free games. $499.99 @ launch $499.99 now with two games.
TurboTuna
Just ebay the games or sell them to friends if you don't like them

FreqFace
Everywhere here has just the Xbox 360 on it's own. However, most of the time it's the same price as a console with 1 or 2 games in, so it makes no sense to buy it on its own.
Pentaborane
Console + 2 games = 500 (canadian) here It would be nice if: Console = 450 (canadian)

AimLXJ
You can always eBay the games or sell it at some game stores.
DirtyLarry Veteran Posted February 4, 2007 Veteran Share Posted February 4, 2007 I am not sure what chains you have in Canada or else I would recommend a store itself, but some stores, especially larger retail stores that deal with everything and not just video games themselves, will let you take back unopened items and will give you store credit for them if you say they were a gift. Some stores are strict about it, however some stores are not. With the stores that are not, if you just say you got the games as a gift, and the person that gave them to you do not have the receipt (or I have said in the past a relative got the gift for me and I did not want to hurt their feelings by saying I already had it), although they will not give you any type of money back, as I said you can sometimes get store credit. This would basically just let you trade in the two games you got with the bundle for whatever games you really do want.

George P Global Moderator Posted February 4, 2007 Global Moderator Share Posted February 4, 2007 I've seen lots of deals like that here in Europe, but it's just 1 game, and a 2nd wireless controller. I don't remember any packs with 2 games though. The newest one I saw was with CoD3 for around 450 Euros give or take. I kinda liked that deal but I'm a bit short on cash right now, so I have to wait. Yeah here, at least in the US cannot speak for Canada, but when I got my bundle (which was on launch so maybe that had something to do with it) it was the games completely separate in their retail packaging unopened. @ gunnerhkjp Yep. It works. I can verify it does. Like I said some stores are more strict about it than others, but the larger retail stores are willing to do it as they usually get reimbursed for whatever stock they do not sell, so it is not like they are losing money either. It was awhile back when I did it, so maybe people have changed their policy, but if you are nice about it, you can usually find some place that will do it. GNRambo
ie - you need to take the games with the systemThats so lame. How is that lame? you get 2 games bundled free :s (well 7 if you count each arcade game sepperatly)
magik
How is that lame? you get 2 games bundled free :s (well 7 if you count each arcade game sepperatly) Because he thinks that if the Console wasn't bundled with those games then he could get just the Console for a cheaper price. Which, unfortunately, just isn't the case.
neoadorable
why are you so keen on refusing bundled games? if it's two for fifty canadian than isn't that like really cheap? just take them.
