m1x4h
If I go to download a video file, it doesn't prompt me to save it. My problem is that one of the sites I go to links you to a php that sends you the file, so right click, save file isn't an option.

GreenMartian
If you're on firefox 2 then you can try this: Tools > Options > Content Then click "Manage" in the file types section. From there you can find the video file type (wmv, avi, whatever) and change their default action. I don't currently have other versions of firefox, so that's the only help i could manage. SacrificialSoldier
I personally have FF2 and can say that by default WMV is associated with the "Windows Media Player Plug-in Dynamic Link Library" Plugin and AVI is not even in that list S2
GreenMartian
I'd assume that anything not listed there would be handled by the download dialog. Edit: That's funny, when I accessed my website using http://xxx.com/test.wmv it shows the file using the media player plugin. But when I do it with http://localhost/test.wmv I got the download dialog.
