Makki Posted December 6, 2002 Share Posted December 6, 2002 Microsoft Corp said the US cable television companies Uvision LLC and Willamette Broadband LLC will use the software giant's television Interactive Program Guide (IPG) across their cable systems as part of a deal announced this morning. Microsoft's TV IPG will be rolled out to the companies' digital television subscribers from the first quarter 2003. No financial terms of the deal were provided. The Microsoft TV IPG platform supplies client and server products for digital services through cable, terrestrial and satellite networks across a variety of television devices.
