Sierra Online, a division of Vivendi Games, is creating a video game inspired by the hit television series, Battlestar Galactica?, airing on the SCI FI Channel. ?We?re huge fans of Battlestar Galactica and are thrilled to have the opportunity to create a game inspired by the TV series,? said Ed Zobrist, president of Sierra Online. ?NBC Universal is working closely with us so that players will be able immerse themselves in the Battlestar Galactica universe and re-live their favorite missions from the TV series.?

Developed by Australian-based Auran Games, Battlestar Galactica will feature both single- and multi-player modes and allow the player to take part in intense space battles as a pilot for either the humans or Cylon forces. One of my favorite series, just hope they won't ruin this game.

If they make it larget than 50MB I will be happy, if not I won't purchase it no matter how good it will be.

Why should how big a game matter if you donwload it or not? Especially if its not larger than 50mb.

Missing a great game becuase its under 50mb is just silly. :p

Sierra, huh? Didn't they also cancel some other TV franchise-based games? Some Star Trek thing...Babylon 5...?

Actually I may be wrong on the Star Trek game. Somebody will surely correct me. I'm probably thinking of Activision...I don't think Sierra ever had a license for producing Star Trek games.

Yup was Bab5.

In fairness, it was a game slated to come out a fair while after the show had finished. The lack of interest would have been part of the issue.

Well, they're still coming out with Star Trek games, and no new show has been on the air for well over a year now...
