giga Veteran Posted February 10, 2007 Veteran Share Posted February 10, 2007 $50/year is really not that expensive. Oh, and watch the caps next time.
planetik
I find that ebay is the cheapest place to buy them because there is no shipping (code sent through e-mail) and there's no tax. By the way, abide by the rules and don't put your title in caps.
InfamousCivic
My mistake in regards to the caps. I realize it's not expensive, but just want to know where most of you got it - and may save me a little here & there, which is always a good thing. So far, cheapest place = eBay for 40 bucks - 13 months.

DirtyLarry Veteran Posted February 11, 2007 Veteran Share Posted February 11, 2007 Mmk. CC $40. http://www.circuitcity.com/ccd/productDeta...p;cm_keycode=67 That is a good deal. So just curious if I were to buy that right now, and enter the code, it would just become "retroactive" so to speak when my current year runs out??? What I mean is they have my Credit Card on file, and it just automatically gets charged (this past January actually), so if I buy this card, enter the code, will it know to add an additional year onto my already existing paid for year, so I would not get charged again until January 2009? Hope that makes sense. If so, may pick up two actually, just to save the $20 bucks.

I believe that is correct, i know that if you add to the card to your live it will extend your subscription, im not 100% sure they wont charge you again in jan but i dont belive they will. Ryster
I'm fairly certain you can deactivate automatic renewal by credit card and switch to pre-pay, I did that on mine but I cannot remember how. Perhaps redeeming the 1 year code will do this.

I'm pretty sure it's there. I've done it before.
