Remember the registration your console thing = free arcade?

You know.. I'm starting to get a bit ****ed at the lack of support Microsoft shows for Canadian owners. Not only are the dashboard ads almost never updated (it bloody had the Kameo holiday pack for 6+ months), but we are cut out of most special deals, or contests, etc.

I understand Europe often gets the lousy treatment too, but at least they update the ads there.

What the hell.

So it does apply to consoles outside of North America too? Is there something I'm missing?

Hey, can you do everyone a favor and bitch somewhere else. It gets kind of old see you people come in every single damn thread about a contest and bitching and crying like a little girl about how you didnt get in. Tough ****, nobody cares, go complain somewhere else.

There was no need need for that. All the contests seem to revolve around the US, and I think the rest of us who aren't allowed to participate have the right to complain.

Noone would care if other countries were getting their own equivalent giveaways but theyre not. MS offers a truck load of promotions to US residents and Xbox owners and the rest of the world misses out. It's not even like its some competition where its a 1 in 5000 chance of winning or theres shipping costs involved. Its a digital give away that could easily have been done for other users. its a bit rich to say noone cares. Obviously if many people get upset then theres a large portion of people that do care.

I doubt you would be happy if every other month MS was giving away content or at least giving people the chance to in every other country bar the US. The reason people get upset is because we rightfully feel shafted. I dont really mind missing out on these free games but it would be nice if they did something like this for their other markets once in a while. hell we payed as much if not more for the console than US users and while I wont say we are entitled to anything (we arent) it would at least be nice if we could be included in some of these promotions especially when theres no reason that physical location should matter.

Its not necessarily even limited to the Xbox. Currently Australians cant even make use of things in Vista like anytime upgrade if reports that I have heard from 2 or 3 sources is correct. I mean cmon...(this one irks me alot more than any Xbox promotion actually)

Anyway congrats to those users that did get the games. Sucks you couldnt choose them but hopefully people enjoy them anyway. Should server as a nice diversion and a good gift for you.

Speaking of loyalty... do any of you think that Microsoft should give away free games and stuff for loyalty to Xbox Live? I've been a member for nearly 4 years (coming up in May), and I think it would be awesome to get some free stuff, considering you pay ?40 a year for this excellent service.

I'd like them to give away a free arcade game of your choice for every year you've been on Xbox Live Gold. That would be 3 games for me!

Firstly, I'd like the Live services available in the US to come to Europe:((
