Defiantly
Source: http://www.xboxic.com/news/2442 QUOTE: We can all feel it, there?s a certain atmosphere hanging around at every Xbox 360 news related website, where the heck is the Worms XBLA game? Well, we?ve got a little bit of Worms news we?d like to share with you. Team 17 boss Martyn Brown says we?re near its release (again?). Microsoft?s Xbox Live Arcade game certification must be a huge process, as the game is still not available for download. The developers at Team 17 are getting frustrated too. Martyn Brown said to Eurogamer that they?ve re-submitted their final builds several times, and with the news of no Arcade game coming out this week, they probably felt like sharing that since they are looking forward to see the game hit Xbox Live as well. ?It?s really been a case of the last cycle of production/testing and certification taking much longer than we would have hoped. We know we aren?t the only case, but that doesn?t ease the frustration.? ?Worms is one of the ?richer? XBLA experiences in that it?ll provide hours and hours of repeat play through it?s on and offline multiplayer modes. Unfortunately that?s meant a hell of a lot of testing and also re-submissions on what we felt were final builds.? ?We?ve been working very closely with Microsoft XBLA team on this who are as excited and just as keen to see the game out there and on XBLA but there are procedures to follow before that can be the case.? It seems as if Team 17 was just too enthusiastic with the announcements and promises they made, as if they didn?t expect the procedure to be this complicated. Martyn Brown is expecting a release very soon though, not promising anything because they?ve been wrong twice before. ?We?re very close to being able to celebrate its release though, although it?s almost happened twice before, so we better keep quiet and hope that we get the green light soon.? This last quote should get hopes up high again, after the disappointing news from last week. All these delays must mean a nearly bug free and great working game right? Perhaps we?ll see a release next week on Wednesday theEND QUOTEry edge of February we can always hope?
