Anubis187
This is the second time firefox will not update with the same error "r\n\r\nfirefox.exe\r\n\r\nclick..." I have downloaded the update from firefox webpage itself but it still does not seem to work? Anyone else having this problem?

smsmith
You could post it here: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewforum.php?f=38 <-- Firefox Support forum But maybe see if this helps first: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Updates_reported..._newest_version http://kb.mozillazine.org/Software_Update Make sure you have write access with your Windows user to the program files directory, or the update usually fails (unless you run the program once as admin for some reason). zeroday
I get this error with Thunderbird and Firefox when updating. Usually closing FF/Thunderbird, renaming the exe, and then trying works for me. (Not via check for updates, but via the downloaded installer).
