Smashing Pumpkin
As I've posted before there may be a chance I can get 512kbs broadband in my area soon (yay...) If I got that and then connected to Live, would I have a huge queue of updates to download for the 360? Or are these optional or what? bangbang023 Veteran Posted February 26, 2007 Veteran Share Posted February 26, 2007 You'd only have to download one update. The others should be consolidated into that one download.

AimLXJ
Though, you don't have to actually download the update, you can either 1.) Down the update from your PC and burn it onto a CD and install it onto your Xbox 360 2.) Tell a friend that has a good connection to download it and burn it for you

magik
It's basically a glorified BIOS update.
Smashing Pumpkin
Oh wow, awesome *never knew that!* So, how large are these update files to get on the PC and where do I find them, I'm only on dial-up so I may wait till I'm somewhere with a fast connection. Thanks peeps! Richard xxx It's only 6Megs, so you should be able to do it on your dial-up no problem. But if you're getting Broadband anyway, why not update it when you go online? It only takes seconds on a broadband.
