Flatty
Hello everybody! I was looking for the "image auto resize" option for IE7 when I discovered I completely lost the "advanced" tab. Same thing for "content", "connections". Her'es a screenshot comparison: My Internet options menu How it should be... Any idea about how I could fix it? Thx! richter
Spyware? I know this used to be case when computer got infected with certain type of spyware. I would suggest that you run a scan with a couple of antispyware utilities and see if that solves your problem (taking they manage to remove infection if present). Flatty
Hmmm good hint! Just tested with SpyBot and AdAware but nothing wrong was found on the system (apart from some rotten cookies lol). Damn how could I fix it? :(
richter
Sorry I couldn't be much of a help. According to this site it could be some 3rd party plugin: http://msmvps.com/blogs/spywaresucks/archi...5/03/93238.aspx And MS offers solutions for missing options in Advanced tab (I know it's not the same thing, but could be related somehow - it shouldn't hurt to try): http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/928849
Flatty
Hi! Unfortunately that's not my case. No plugins (fresh XP copy with IE7 added shortly after the "genuinity check" process) and no missing options, as the whole tab is missing... lol! I really cannot find any answer online, come on Neowin you're my last (only) hope
richter
It's not your case, but you could have gave it a shot. Anyway, did you try uninstall/reinstall? Edit: Try that reg fix. Rename .txt to .reg (tweak from Kelly's Korner XP so it's safe, don't worry) Edited February 27, 2007 by richter
