v0ltage789
My xbox 360 has been freezing every now and then, maybe once a week or so. But today my brother was playing gears of war and he loaded in a map and there was all kinds of missing textures, almost everything was black and he could see through the floor and most of the walls. I am wondering if I should call it in, I don't really know why this is happening, I treat the damn thing like my own born child, blowing the dust out of it weekly, keeping it ventilated. Do you think I should call MS? And if I do, what is the chance I will end up with someone elses refurbished scuffed up piece of crap?

Yeah, call Microsoft. :) And it's not your fault, the 360 simply has hardware fails like any other hardware piece. Good luck with getting a new one! :)
neoadorable
don't rush into calling them, i had a spat of missing/flickering textures with GoW/RSV but over the last month or so it seems to have gone away. Also, my 360 has weeks where she needs to be booted twice to go to the dashboard and often shows E74's on the way. then it goes away for a long time. these machines are eccentric, probably due to being perpetually overclocked/too tightly packed. give it a couple of weeks of good gaming and see what happens. For what it's worth, I've been through 2 consoles since the original launch. Both were brand new when I got them. I'm not really sure how they're doing it now though, so YMMV.
