Ayepecks
I am currently having a problem playing a movie "Crank" I downloaded via Marketplace. It states "Can't play this content because it may not be supported. For more info, go to www.xbox.com/support Status code: 69-00-800004005". I would really appreciate some help with the situation, as I don't want to have just lost 480 GP for no reason and have to buy the movie again. So am I out of my GP? spenser.d
Weird. Haven't heard of that. I would call MS Tech Support (I know, I know, pain in the ***) and tell them about it and you'll probably get your Points back. -Spenser
stanley porkchop
There is a time frame in which you're able to watched those movies. How long ago did you download it?
Ayepecks
I downloaded it less than an hour before I made this post. I don't have another 360 to swap it onto, but I'm willing to bet it's a problem with the file, not the 360. And yeah, I'm going to call them once I get back to my dorm. I tried e-mailing, but they just said to call.
NCIvey
Maybe this is a stupid question, but did you download the HD version and try to watch it on a SD TV?

daveoc64
 that would explain everything No it wouldn't. The Xbox 360 can scale any video to fit the TV. HD video works fine on SDTV SD video works fine on HDTV.
Ryan Hoffman
No. If you download the HD version, then it will scale down to SD resolution.

daveoc64
depends on the tv, my friends one went black when he did that accidentally. No it doesn't. The "ANA" chip inside the Xbox 360 will adjust the video before it even reaches the TV. If the screen went blank then there would be a problem with the TV or the way it was connected to the Xbox 360. neoadorable
yes, HD/sD will be totally interchangable in this case. the error means MS thinks he already downloaded this over two weeks ago and/or played it first more than 24 hours ago. ya gotta call those people, Ayepecks, and get yer points back, no two ways about it. it's their bad, not yours. There is a 24hour/2 week play limit? That can't be right! :pinch:
stanley porkchop
There is a 24hour/2 week play limit? That can't be right! :pinch: It is. If you download a movie, you keep it for two weeks, unless you actually watch it, in which case it becomes unplayable 24 hours after its viewing.
