TheDogsBed
This is a weird one. I have two completely differently pieces of web software. I try to upload zip files and txt files in Opera, IE7, and Firefox 2.0.0.2. All of them work except Firefox. When uploading these two types in Firefox, it sends a filetype of unknown/unknown, as opposed to, say, zip/application. Because the software, as many do, has an array of acceptable file types, unknown/unknown gets rejected, for good reason. So it's the software you say. I thought that too so asked a colleague to do the exact same thing as me. Sure enough, it worked perfectly for him in 2.0.0.2 I've disabled both my Kerio Firewall and Norton Anti-Virus to rule those out of the equation and still no change. Any ideas why my Firefox is doing this? Installed Extensions: Adblock HTML Validator DOM Inspector Google Toolbar Web Developer Toolbar I've already tried disabling all of the above, just in case, to no avail.
