American Ninja
There is a new problem. I went to play some of my arcade games I bought offline now all of them except one are reverted back to trial versions of the games! But when I sign onto XBL they become the full versions again and I can play just fine. Does anyone know what could be up? +dnast Subscriber² Posted March 16, 2007 Subscriber² Share Posted March 16, 2007 That's how it works. When you purchase an XBLA title it's linked to your console and your GamerTag. So if you're playing on a different console than you originally used to purchase a game, you'll have to be signed in to use it. It's done that way to prevent people from buying a game once and putting the full version on all of their friend's 360s. It would be nice if there was an easy fix, but for now if you want the games to work without you being signed on you'll have to call MS and get redemption codes for everything. I've never done this personally because I didn't feel like going through all of the hassle.

MadFerIt
American Ninja, I'm in the same situation as you lol. Although with my broadband connection my 360 is usually online whenever I turn it on. You not having broadband however, it must be a huge pain. I'll have to try the redownloading step and see if it fixes it.

They still won't work offline, but as long as you're signed in they'll work fine. It's something I've learned to live with for about a year now. The only annoying thing about it is that I have to sign in to let family members and friends play those games and it screws up my Last Played Games list even if I'm not signed in on the controller they're using. Meshuggah
the only way to get them back is to call MS support up and tell them all the games you have purchased. You will then have to wait a few weeks while they verify all the ones you have purchased. Then they will either give you a 25-digit key for the games themselves, or 25-digit keys for MS points so you can repurchase them on your new console. This is the only way to do it (I had to go through this when my 360 died). It's a pain, but that is how it works.

Because when I am offline they are trials and it says unlock the full game but when I click unlock full game it asks me to sign into live. So I sign into live then the unlock full game link disappears and its the full version again. So I don't know how this is going to work lol
Meshuggah
25-digit key that you type in. If they give you Microsoft points, you will have to create a dummy xbox live account (like i did) to rebuy the games with the points. This is exactly how I did it. If you want, I had a post about this long ago, search my forum topics from last year.
