DR3AMxCATCHER
I barely even understand what I'm doing..I do the hardest shots and I get owned. My player is always diving for the ball and Williams just stands there.
AimLXJ
The game is pretty easy, if you press A while you're far away from the ball then you will make a dash for it so its better off running a few steps then hitting and BTW, Williams is the easiest character to beat imo. Mr_Edwardo
Yep, I took a long time trying to get the hang of this... and it was frustrating! You need to actually position yourself a lot more in VT3 than you did in previous versions. This means actually running to the path of the ball before pressing any "hit" buttons, otherwise you'll just dive if you're far away.
Rainbow Dave
But it is fiendishly addictive... :)

LOC Veteran Posted March 19, 2007 Veteran Share Posted March 19, 2007 I downloaded the Top Spin 2 demo when I nabbed the VT3 demo, wow Top Spin 2 BLOWS this away. In fact, I'm gonna pick up a used copy of Top Spin 2 this week. It was much better, looked better imo, and wasn't so hard I felt like pulling my skin off. Sounds like you guy's aren't really happy with it. TBH, I think some people are impatient, and are expecting it to play exactly like VT2. Yes, it is harder and takes a while to master, but because of this it's very rewarding when you finally get it right :)

Defiantly
I too think that Top Spin 2 is much better. ...and the graphics in VT3 look nothing like what we've been seeing in those incredable screen shots.

Meshuggah
it took me about 4 days to get good at this game...today i beat 4 of my 6 games...just dont press ANY key until you are close to the ball, or you will lose every single time.

MightyJordan
I downloaded this demo last week, and I have to say it's not that good. The graphics are below average (as stated in previous posts), there was a few graphical glitches in the game when I played it (but that was probably just my TV), the gameplay is wayyyy too difficult, and I don't like that the music plays in a game by default. That can really put you off at times. IMO, if you want a tennis game on the 360, stick with Top Spin 2. It's more realistic, it's got a better soundtrack (Hoobastank rules!), and it will probably have better online gameplay, since SEGA aren't that good when it comes to online modes (still better than EA though). The only thing VT3 has over TS2, IMO is that it has Rafael Nadal.
