Unfortunately there aren't many "online rpgs" for the 360 yet. The only two I can think of are Phantasy Star Universe and Final Fantasy XI. Now if you like Japanese style RPG's best bet would be a game called Enchanted Arms. But you'd be better off waiting for the "big" rpg's to come out. In August Blue Dragon will be released here (created by one of the creators of Final Fantasy), and also Lost Odyssey later in 2007 (also made by the same team as Blue Dragon). I'm not exactly sure of the date, but there's also a game called Eternal Sonata that is getting a great deal of media coverage and positive previews. There's more titles on the way but that's the big one's. Now if you enjoy Western RPG's as well, there are some amazing games out already. Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is one of the best western RPG's ever created, and I spent at least 150 hours of my time getting through it. There's also a big game called "Mass Effect" made by Bioware that is coming out around June/July'ish (it's probably their most hyped and impressive RPG to date). But anyway, there are also many great RPG's from the original xbox, that are part of the backwards compatibility the 360 provides. The best in my opinion is Knights of the Old Republic, star wars game and bloody amazing. It was made by Bioware as well, and they also created a game called "Jade Empire" which is also covered with the BC support. I'm sure I missed some, but this is a good start at least lol. NightmarE D
Star Wars - Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2 are IMO, two of the greatest games ever to come out for the original Xbox. I have them both for the original Xbox and even bought the PC versions as well
BaZurk
Thanks guys. I played MLB 07 on a friends xbox a week ago and simply fell in love with it. I am not much of a console gamer but after seeing how far they have come recently. i was in awe of the graphics in that baseball game.

n3urotic
WOW, went to the wrong console there for RPG's. Do yourself a favour pickup a PSTwo along with FF12/Valkyrie Profile 2/Tales of the Abyss and Rogue Galaxy. You are set until Blue Dragon and Eternal Sonata comes out. The 360, right now, isn't the console if you would like RPGs. The only reason I bought a 360 was because of my hope that there would be more RPGs for it than there was for the Xbox (Xbox's lineup was pretty good, but thin). My hope if for the future though, although this is a pretty "American" system (hopefully no one will get offended by that). A PS2 would have you set for a long time. By the way vlsion, Trusty Bell will be called Eternal Sonata over here. Edited March 22, 2007 by Hova
Spartan_X
well, the PS3 isn't excatly the mother of all RPGs ATM TBH and also you can wait for Namco to bring the Tales series to the 360 later on if you like JP style RPGs...

Previous Sony console history, plus the fact that the 360 isn't doing well in Japan, may make it seem that the PS3 will also be loaded with J-style RPGs. Don't know yet though because I can't tell the future . There is no harm in mentioning that some of us are dissatisfied with the lack of RPGs on the 360 though :/
