I vote for Crackdown too. Lost Planet is a good game, but there's a few things in the game that ruin it for me (like how you fall down for 5 secs every freaking time you get hit).

just get both of them and problem fixed...

Or, you know, a less expensive solution would be to just rent them, see which one you like. I personally prefer Crackdown, love that game. Although once you finish it, there isn't much else to do except achievements, and there's only so much you can do there.

Lost Planet is going to have more replay value and more accessible multiplayer action. Crackdown is great, but it's really a single player game.

I agree, it depends on wether you like multiplayer or single player more - for me, it's the latter, which is probably why I prefer Crackdown. I much prefer an engaging campaign rather than a crappy single player with all the focus on multiplayer. Not that multiplayer isn't an essential part of gaming these days, just don't let it detract from the single player mode. Though, I do loves me some Burnout Revenge online.

Sorry, went a bit off-topic there.

well i havent played lost planet apart from an online demo but i do own crackdown and i have to say since getting it a few days after release i am still playing it. the achievements are quite fun to attempt to get and they are just at the right level of difficulty. i have heard rumours of new online modes coming in DLC and that it WILL be free so id keep my eyes open for that one...

personally lost planet never grabbed my attention as crackdown did, you can play co-op which can be fun and again i do most nights.

i definatly vote for crackdown but like i said i havent played lost planet

Personally, I would recommend Rainbow Six Vegas (That game was AWESOME),

But if you really want to decide between Lost Planet and Crackdown, get Crackdown. LP is such a "predictable" game in the way it plays, it doesn't really add anything new to the genre, but there is nothing like jumping over the rooftops sniping gang members like in Crackdown.

Crackdown for me. It is so addictive, whether ur doing missions, orbs, etc. It may dwindle after you beat the game, but I hear the company may add more stuff in downloadable content for this game.

I vote for Crackdown as well, it's a brilliant game to play. I've completed it twice but keep going back on it to try to get all the achievements.

I really loved Lost Planet, its a great game defenatly worth getting for any 360 owner.

But Crackdown i have to say is a bit more compelling anyway, its just soo much fun and extremly addictive.

i would hands down say lost planet..... its a really innovative and different game compared to a lot of the same games you see lately

sorry to all you crackdown fans out there but i think it sucks. the actually shooting and killing in crackdown is really stupid, the only fun thing to do is jump around for agility orbs and UP your stats... which i would pick up the DEMO for, after all it is 60 dollars cheaper and exactly like the full game (you just have a time limit)

i dont see why everybody is bashing lost planet, did anyone even attempt to use the grenades? that game has the best grenades of any game to date HANDS DOWN... i mean seriously, a frisbee grenade you can shoot on command, beautiful

Love Crackdown. Haven't really got into Lost Planet single player, but I love the multiplayer.

It's a though choice but I would go with Crackdown

you know what's really funny? most of the people that rushed into the stores to grab a copy of Crackdown did it with the sole purpose to get an easy access to the Halo 3 Beta when it fact they were getting one of the best games we'd seem so far this year... good thing is that after a short and well deserved brake the devs will start the work on Crackdown 2...
