    • No, not at all. I don't need the HDMI hook-up and will be the 120GB accessory if needed

Hey everyone,

I want to know how many of you will be ditching your current Xbox 360 and buying the "upgraded" version with HDMI and 120GB. I am not talking about the "Elite" as it is a limited edition product which I am sure many would like to get their hands on.

Fortunately I have no reason to. My TV looks amazing with VGA (Samsung LCD's don't get that pesky washed out problem) 360, and it upscales to my TV's native resolution (1366x768).

But a 120GB Hard Drive?? *Drool*.. I really hope there will be a reasonable price tag associated with it.

Nope. When I get an HDTV, I'll just make sure it accepts all resolutions via the VGA cable that I already have. I also have no real use at the moment for all that extra HDD space.

Yes, I will use my 2 year replacement plan from Best Buy and pay the little difference between the two consoles. Luckily, I've bought launch consoles before and knew I could take advantage of Best Buy's replacement plan when the need arose. I don't care about HDMI at the moment, I just want a black, l33t 360 ;)

I don't know... I probably won't buy a new one at least not anytime soon. I'll probably buy the 120GB hard drive. As for HDMI, my TV's HDMI port is actually broken right now, and for me there's no reason to use it over VGA. If I upgrade to a 1080p DLP or something else later this year or next, then maybe I'll upgrade then.

Quick Q: Does the XBOX have DVI?

no but you can use a vga -> dvi .

and back to the original topic of this thread, I wish I could but I am not giving microsoft another dime for pulling this ****.

nope. i had hope that there would be a way for older consoles to get hdmi and that i would be able to get the larger hdd for cheap, but sadly i don't see those 2 things happening anytime soon. i'll stick with my premium for now.

I just want HDMI...

I may sell my launch console (thats been holding strong) sometime in the future for an HDMI port.

Its something about 1 small cable that does video/audio at once in HD that makes me wanna get it.

Yes. I've already sold my current 360 and I will be buying the Elite when it comes out. You know me though...

I don't care for the Black finish.

Don't care for the extra HDD space.

Don't care about the potentially quieter console.

... I just want my HDMI. :p

No.

I don't need HDMI output and right now, I don't even need the extra HDD space.

If it had WiFi, HD-DVD drive and the 65nm chip, then I would have considered it.

But I do like the black. I'll probabaly buy a black pad :D

Although the Elite looks better than the current one, I'm not gonna upgrade. I might get the 120GB hard drive next year, but I can manage for now.

i might sell mine and get the upgraded one for the simple fact that it's black and all my other components are black so it just sticks out so much.... i would love it to just blend in nicely with the darker background in the HT room.

The 120GB HD too will definitely come in handy because i have 1GB left on mine... the HDMI i don't care about so much. I have an upconverting dvd player that's using the HDMI and i'd keep it that way rather than using the 360 for that.

No, I dont see a point in it. The picture is going to be the same over HDMI as it is VGA adn component. Also im not one of those people who just HAVE to have the latest and greatest, which is 75% of the people who are saying they are going to sell their old one to get the new one.

No

The PS3 is already occupying my one HDMI slot

and I have no need for 120GB when there is no DVR support where I live and the X360 is so closed..

Ill paint my X360 Premium black myself! \o/
