matty13
This should be reported to mozilla to be fixed as soon as possible. But theres a bug in firefox. lets say there test page for the "its-a-trap". Ok so you got there URL: http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/its-a-trap.html Firefox detects it as phishing. Now, look at this URL: http://www.mozilla.com/firefox////its-a-trap.html Firefox no longer detects that page as phishing. Notice anything different about the URL? "////" is added before the HTML Page. Hmmm.... This needs to be reported and fixed by mozilla as soon as possible. If this is voilating the rules of Neowin then please remove the links and the way i have explained this! Im just showing you guys so you can report this seen as i dont know how to report this bug. Thanks, Matthew
The_Decryptor Veteran Posted April 2, 2007 Veteran Share Posted April 2, 2007 That's not a bug, i assume it's a mis configuration of the URL's http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/its-a-trap.html points to http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/its-a-trap.html which is detected http://www.mozilla.com/firefox////its-a-trap.html points to http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/its-a-trap.html which isn't detected. So basically, the URL isn't in the list as suspicious, but it should still be reported on bugzilla anyway.
