unclebobee
I had to reload WinXP Pro and now the pages are too wide to fit the screen, so I have to keep using the slider button to see the whole page.....you can understand how difficult it makes viewing web pages. How can I correct this??? Thanks for your help !!!
snelson
Have you changed your desktop resolution?
unclebobee
Have you changed your desktop resolution? That could be the problem. I have now 600x800 and icons are 96 dpi......Originally my icons were much smaller, before I re-loaded WIN XP....no mean feat, in itself....(I wanted to repair with SCANNOW, which wouldn't load and then tried the 'r' option but so screwed it up that I re-installed WIN XP over the original Windows OS and lost all my 'desktop' files. They are still on the HDD but accessing the shortcuts does not always let them run, so I have been re-installing the progs that I use.....WHEW) I still cannot get the SP2 update to install....but I tried changing the icons to 75% but maybe I have to change the resolution also??? When I changed the icon size, every box that came up was unreadable (fuzzy ?) The MORE you know about Windows....the LESS you know about Windows !!!! Thank you for your help !!
