primexx
Before I begin, I'm using the Cookie Safe Extension for cookie control. If you have another extension that does similar things, it should work as well. === Edit: Although my title says Gmail, I've later figured out that you could use most (if not all) Google services that require loggin in, without the bad cookies, by doing this. As you know Google has these insanely long expiration dates on some cookies. I looked through, and found that by allowing both gmail.google.com and google.com, there is one of those nasty cookies that is set. So I set out to get rid of it. First thing I tried: Allow gmail.google.com, Block google.com. That failed miserably since I could nolonger log into Gmail. Second thing I tried: Allow gmail.google.com, Allow google.com for Session. That failed, somehow. Then I tried: Allow gmail.google.com, Allow www.google.com for Session. This worked. I have yet to see any nasty cookies after that. The one that was present before now expires at the end of the session. === For those perfectionists & privacy zealots like me.
