Zomp
My pc has (only!, only?) 512Mb ram. Recently it has became slow because when FF is open it uses a lot of memory, even more than 200 Mb. I applied the suggestions to modify some keys in about:config but without no (apparent) result. Now I have installed "restart FF" extension that closes and re-opens immediately FF, and so making I noted a substantial gain in free ram. I wonder if there is an extension that bounds the ram used by FF, i.e. that forces it to NOT use more than x Mb ram. Thanks for your replies.
