you can see the scores from a lot of sites here...

on the ps3: http://www.gamerankings.com/htmlpages2/932031.asp - avg site score 73%

on the ps2: http://www.gamerankings.com/htmlpages2/937801.asp - avg site score 55%

on the PC: http://www.gamerankings.com/htmlpages2/938765.asp - avg site score 79%

on the DS: http://www.gamerankings.com/htmlpages2/937800.asp - avg site score 84%

on the wii: http://www.gamerankings.com/htmlpages2/937803.asp - avg site score 76%

at the time of writing, IGN was the only site to give this a score under 8... infact they only liked the DS version

the fact remains comparitively the wii is 'creaming' on the ps3 and 360 in comparative terms.

I haven't even heard of the other three sites GameRankings sources for the Wii version. But their scores seem in line with GamePro, which obviously means they suck.

Nice, subtle.

Spiderman 3 scored 5.7 on the Wii. The PS2 version it's based on? 3.5.

The controls manage to bring fun to an otherwise terrible game.

For fun lets take a look at some unrelated Spiderman 3 scores. The 'HD Gen' version? (meaning both 360 and PS3 got the same score) 6.0

Hmm, seems even the 'full' version can't get a decent score. In fact the only one to get anything decent was the DS version, netting an 8.1.

don't blame either system, I think we can all agree that the game is probably all around crap. the developer didn't take the full potention of either of the hd systems, and didn't even look like they finished coding the wii version.

I want to see what the pirates of the caribeen games looks like when it's finally released for all systems, at least it LOOKS like they've done a pretty decent job on all the systems, but then of course the actual gameplay could be pure crap. and I'm sure if there's a shrek 3 game it's going to suck too regardless of system.

Finally got a Wii this weekend due to the shortage, the only problem I have is I'll soon need a new shoulder :woot:

Wii to me seems to be a double edged sword:

If you make a game that uses the control system to the full, there's a good chance you won't be able to release it on the other platforms

but,

If it's good you'll sell that many copies on a system that the manufactures can't keep up with demand, you won't care!

Actually, from what I've read, it sounds like a number of major studios have separate teams whose focus is creating Wii-specific versions of their cross-platform games.

But you have something of a point. I mean, the only games that will really utilize all aspects of the wii remote will be first party games and exclusives. Most cross platform games likely implement the remote to a lesser degree, since the game is being developed with multiple consoles in mind.
