Robbie.Knox
I'm trying to download a file on Rapidshare that has been camouflaged as a JPG i.e. when I download it, I see an image in my browser window but the page still loads for five minutes whilst the rest of the file comes through. Now I want to download the file, so I right click on the image and click Save Image As, but it only downloads the image and not the rest of the file. What I would want ideally is, when I input the validation code, I'd like a box to pop up asking me to save the file to my computer, rather than just seeing the image. Any ideas how I could do this? Sorry if I haven't explained very well. Thanks Rob
.AlleymaN
If possible temporarily set your 'jpg' association to pop up the download box instead of using the borwser to display the image. I'm sure people will be able to help further once you tell us what browser you are using. What I said is pretty straight forward to do in Opera, which is why I suggested it. xDayan
I have a Rapid Share premium account so if you need it I'll download, and then upload it to my site. Edited May 1, 2007 by AkSomeguy
Robbie.Knox
It's alright thanks AkSomeGuy there's quite a few files to download. And also, AlleyMaN, how would I do that in Opera? Thanks a lot for the replies. Rob
.AlleymaN
In Opera: Preferences (alt+p)> Advanced tab > Downloads > untick "Hide files opened with Opera" > search for 'jpg' > select image/jpg > click edit > Select "show download dialog" > OK out of preferences. If it gets annoying loading webpages using this setting, you can turn off image loading temporarily by pressing Shift + I (this will toggle loading images).
