martskre
This just happened to me too after Firefox decided to "update" my addons, which it didn't. It just reset everything including my bookmarks. Oh well, blame yourself for not taking backup.
SacrificialSoldier
You should Find Bookmark Backups here C:\Documents and Settings\*Your Username*\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\*RandomCrap* Should be a file called bookmarks.bak or a folder called bookmarkbackups Foxmarks is a good program to keep the bookmarks backed up. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2410

foobah
maybe you could use a file recovery app to recover any html files (ff's bookmark files are html file, non?) - worth a go, might get an old copy, might be most recent. Might get nothing. /me hugs his 20hr old backup drive
+Peewee210 Subscriber¹ Posted May 4, 2007 Subscriber¹ Share Posted May 4, 2007 If you really want your bookmarks back try a system restore. This has happened to me a few times, happens when firefox crashes on me and restarts, but luckily mine are backed up.
