Anything related to Vista and DirectX 10 seems to have been delayed. Crysis pushed back, the Flight Sim X update and now Halo 2... there is a distinct lack of DX10 content.

Well Halo 2 uses Directx 9 not 10 but yea there is a lack as you say. but i think Halo 2 will show some of gamers what vista can do evan tho the game is Dx9 based but is based around vistas new APIs well the game engine was re-coded around the new APIs

'Install experience' is likely to be related to the Tray & Play feature so it's fair enough :)

I'm probably gonna sound like a complete idiot here but..

...Optimized for the advanced gaming features in Windows Vista

when they say that, does that mean your gonna need Vista Ultimate to get the full Halo 2 experience? (I ask this cause I recall reading awhile ago that Vista Ultimate has a few extras for gaming in it)

It means that it's designed to work on any edition of Windows Vista.

Home Basic, Home Premium, Business, Ultimate = Works

I know I read the whole thread, but let me just ask again to clarify.

With an Xbox Live Gold membership, we are able to play with Xbox players?
