Which Firefox version are you using?

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9a4) Gecko/20070427 GranParadiso/3.0a4

I would use it if it wernt for the fact that many of my extensions dont work. How is it at this stage?

The same, none of the extensions I use work with it. I use it because I have had lots of problems with 2.0xxx. It seems that mozilla make FF less and less stable with each release and the memory leaks are still around. Prior to and including version 1.0 I had no issues at all with it. It didn't crash once.

This is _exactly_ what I am finding.

With each release of FF I am finding it more and more sluggish, and it is using more and more ram. It really doesn't crash on me, but it just don't seem "right" at times.

I might give SeaMonkey a try again. People have pm'd me stating that it works better although seems to use the same core.

2.0.0.3

I find many new features useful... it's a step ahead, and I don't find particularly heavy... sure it's not as once, but features have a cost

Firefox for mac has always been laggy, and these versions aren't much better (being a nightly and such), but the final release should be better (using a faster drawing API)

And personally, i haven't seen Firefox getting slower, it's actually gotten faster for me.

The core is pretty stable, I don't really use any extensions so I can't tell you much about compatibility.

2.0.0.3,when firefox first came out it was very buggy and i found the 1.5x series crashed alot especialy when playing java based games or any kind of game, the 2xx series i find is very stable and more extensions work with the 2xx series than the 1.5xx series.also firefox 2xx series i find has gotten faster just dont load it down with useless extensions.
