josh1014 Posted November 19, 2001 Share Posted November 19, 2001 i have a hub that 4 computers go thru and when i try to download from other computers on the hub thru ftps, i get speeds of 1mb to 1.5 mbs. I setup a network at a friends house exactly the same way, and when they dl from eachother thru ftp servers (serv-u) they get normal upload speeds of 20k (comcast @home) . For some reason, they cant dl from eachother thru the hub at 1mb to 1.5mb or even see eachother on the network. I cant see my computers either but that doesnt stop us from dling from eachother.
