sharpy2k4
Ok,my setup is this Cable Modem->Belkin F5D7230uk4 (Firmware F5D7230v4_UK_6.00.14)->2 pcs via Belking Dongle + 1 via Laptop Wireless. Anyway, on the router i have the firewall off, as each computer has XP's firewall,ad aware, registry mechanic, and either AVG,Avast, or Bullguards. ok, so msn connects but says "You are connected to the Internet through a UPnP port restriceted NAT(administrator)". Ok, so i went into my router and both NAT and UPNP are enabled. And MSN is on the exceptions list within the firewall that XP Pro SP 2 has. I'm on the internet fine and stuff, its just weird, cause transfers over msn dont go fast, or sometimes they randomly stop. I am logged on as the admin on this computer anyway, well, crated a Admin account at setup, but know the safemode admin password. But can anyone help me with this problem please :) Also:my router wont actually update its firmware, i download the firmware which it says should be in a certain format, but i download from the link and its in .bin format and wont actually install
Bon
Hmmmmm, are you using any third party firewall? If so turn that off aswell and see if your problem is solved.
