News Posting script... whats the best

Question

Well actually I have two questions.

One is what the topic states: What is a good news posting scripts.

features such as:

Easy install & configuration (done via the Web).

Supports multiple users and secure login via "cookies".

Easy to change the way your news looks, via a web-based configuration form.

This feature is going to be used by people that know hardly any HTML.

Now for my second question.

Is there a script that would allow me to create a form where a website user can enter their classified information, but before it gets posted automatticly it has to be verified by a staff member. Sure the staff member could manually add the HTML but like mentioned above the people don't know any HTML and my knowledge on creating scripts is beginner.

all languages.

my host surprisingly is hosttyme ;)

Oh crap. You're screwed... :p

Anyhoo, I'd recommend MoveableType (http://www.moveabletype.org/) from the ease of use perspective, but I don't know about the templating issues, you might have trouble even finding a system like that...

Oh yeah, mine will be the best when it's done :) (I've almost got a working demo :D )

We were very happy with hosttyme for a long time and I don't think you have to worry about being hosted by them. Timdorrs remark is a little inapropriate since they provided us with a server and loads of bandwidth for quite some time.

I switched over to hosttyme right before Neowin left them... So far it's been decent but not outstanding in the least. There's been some downtimes (it happened this afternoon again). Sometimes it's just ftp access but other times (today) it's everything. Apart from that, I've been nagging them to try to get them to let me edit the webalizer (stats) config file to display the entire list of SE keywords but I've only gotten one response where the guy misunderstood me and turned on referrer logs in the control panel instead. Looks like I'll have to upload my own copy of webalizer and set up a chron job... I'm thinking of switching to these guys because they've got much lower prices and if you're looking for a cheap host to put up your sig files or what not, then their (cheapest) lifetime plan ought to be very appealling to you.

to be fair to any hosts, a big site with loads of bandwidth, lots of moaning members, and lots of needs is a big hassle. They (hosttyme) on the whole did us a damn fine job for a very long time.

i think coranto has a addon like that, check the site http://coranto.gweilo.org/ they are currently producing coranto since the original developer decided to cease working on it for now

Sorry, didn't mean to sound like the jerk. Thought the sarcasm would come off better :D

And hope NeoCMS isn't going to be overhype. It's already dynamically generating code (actually, it did accidentally dynamically generate code that overwrote a script file...set me back a little bit, but that bug has been fixed ;) ). I'm not going to make any serious claims until its done, but speed and features are my highest concerns :)
