kiseki_o_o
hi guys.. I'm new to Opera.. I've been trying to install View In IE plugin on Opera.. followed the steps, installed neptune, but the prob is, I can't find npmeadax.dll anywhere in my comp, even after neptune installed.. so.. I dunno what to do now.. anyone know what's wrong? looks like customizing Opera isn't as easy as installing extension on firefox.. oh yeah, and what's more, I seem can't access Opera forum site no matter what browser I use.. that just makes my every problems complete.. any advices appreciated.. thanks in advance.. serafins
View In IE plugincan't access Opera forum I'd sujest you really launch IE because it wont be often. An right-click entry is easy: http://my.opera.com/Tamil/blog/open-in-fir...ternet-explorer the forum... If youre in china in the moment, GreatFireWall is the culprit. halcyoncmdr
For opening pages in otehr browsers I used a modified version of ZDYX's Menu. I found that trying to open a site using the View in IE was a PITA and caused more problems than it was really worth. As to why you can't access their forums I have no clue... :(
kiseki_o_o
the forum...If youre in china in the moment, GreatFireWall is the culprit. right to the point... I AM in china atm :(.. so that's the reason why it's blocked.. same as other sites, such as wiki... I can get pass through wiki using anonymization site.. but for opera's forum, it can't.. any ways anyone knows? For opening pages in otehr browsers I used a modified version of ZDYX's Menu. I can't install it on my Opera 9.21.. got an error at the end of the installation.. any idea why?
halcyoncmdr
I can't install it on my Opera 9.21.. got an error at the end of the installation..any idea why? Was the error something along the lines of "This is made for a different version of the browser"? I had a friend yesterday who had that problem. We fixed it by copying my copy of the menu over to his system, so I'll post it here and you can try that one. Not sure how you would be able to get around the site being blocked though, hopefully someone else can help you. kiseki_o_o
ah.. it comes to my mind about tweaking opera from opera:config, like firefox's FasterFox does.. it sure does make ff load faster.. do you have any idea about it for Opera? or links to somewhere that could show us the ways to tweak Opera? I know mostly everything is at opera's forum web, but I can't open the webs with my.opera.com prefix :(
