PHP Invision Forum hacked?


Question

Hi all, i never asked anyone here for any help, but this time i think that it'll be the best thing, i am in a online group called p4r4noid and we have to forums, one for members ( http://p4r4noid.com/forums/members/) and the other for the public ( http://p4r4noid.com/forums/public/) today we noticed it was totally different the skin was changed the ability to post has gone, there are weird pieces of code everywhere, i and everyone else @ p4r4noid would be very grateful if some one with a knowledge of forums and/or php could help, mail or add me @ fazul316@hotmail.com,

Looks like your macros aren't working...

Contact Invision Support. Someone should get to you within a day at least. Also, post on their board. They'll provide better support there.

We keep it safe easily. IPB is secure by itself (Matt's fixed every known security bug, of which there are few.), but there are other ways in outside of any board's control. Are your server passwords secure? We change them regularly at neowin to keep things secure.

Remember, it's probably not just your message board that can be insecure. There are other ways in :)

need someone like that at mess.be :p , forums keep getting hacked, meybie upgrading to the latest beta is the best way? p4r4noid were using the older one last time i looked

Boys, boys, boys! Lets not get in a fight.

There have been security issues with nearly every bb on the market. However, with all of the boards out there, they've been fixed promptly. Non of the boards out there now have any known issues, as I'm aware. I'd check neworder.box.sk for any exploit updates regularly, they usually have a fix included :)
