matty13
In safari it has option like to only accept cookies from pages you visit to stop ad cookies which are annoying and fill up, is there an addon here for Firefox too? Also i bet adblock would prevent this too?

primexx
You can block third party cookies but I like the extra control that Cookie Safe affords me.
IceDogg
What I do is disable cookies Tools/options/privacy cookies in the middle, uncheck except cookies, then I use Permit cookies to add exceptions (allowing certain sites to set cookies) as I need/want them. But if you are asking about setting it to not allow third party cookies, that has been removed from Firefox's UI (user interface, for those that don't know). However you can still set it up in your about:config to only allow original server cookies (no third party cookies). about:config in your URL box then in the search type cookiebehavior and there should only be one result. Right click modify but 1 in the box that pops up, click ok. Done. Here is more detailed info on it.
