AimLXJ
Did you know that you can play a music file(mp3) inside Opera? Well,..I didn't until now. I found some Music buttons for the experimental MP3 player, on Rijk's page, and I'm using them since, to play music during browsing. > Add mp3 You don't have to launch another application, like winamp or iTunes, (which consumes memory to) to play music. The only disadvantage is that you can't add more than one track, only when the first ends. So, no playlist. So,My wish would be to include a kind of..playlist building feature in Opera. After all, why is this browser called Opera for?;) if not for the music? NienorGT
Awesome... a browser can play a MP3 file one by one... How it's "useful"? Edit:  Opera plays the selected file using Windows Mediaplayer. Edited June 18, 2007 by Nienor

Chode
Shameless plug for my old Winamp Controls in Opera guide. Hasn't been updated or changed since...well, since I got a multimedia keyboard...heck, don't even use Winamp anymore but use WMP11 (toolbar mode for the win :D). Tropical Dream
They play a whole bunch of things via pre-installed plugins. I remember at Opera version 6 i was able to play these types of formats inside the browser mp3, mov, wmv etc...
*John*
This is fairly pointless IMHO. What next, an image editor for your browser?
The_Decryptor Veteran Posted August 18, 2007 Veteran Share Posted August 18, 2007 It's apparently just calling WMP, so it's not really Opera doing it, and it's not new either. Opera can play video's though (<video> tag in by the WHAT-WG), i generally find some of the stuff useless (and when i said as such, i had the spec writer (a google employee) comment on my blog :p ), but some of the creations are very, very cool (e.g. <canvas>, with the right implementation you can have 3D within the webpage)
