Day?s Multiple Episode Arc Debuts Monday, July 18

Wheaton Returns for a Recurring Guest Role and Comic Legend Lee Makes A Cameo Appearance in an All-New Episode Airing Monday, July 25

NEW YORK ? June 14, 2011 ? Three anticipated guest stars come to Syfy?s hit original series Eureka this July, which returns with all-new episodes on Monday, July 11 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Felicia Day debuts her seven episode arc on Monday, July 18 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT. Comic book legend Stan Lee, creator of Spider-Man, makes a cameo appearance in the new episode airing Monday, July 25 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT. Wil Wheaton returns for seven episodes during the second half of season four to reprise his role from last year as Dr. Isaac Parrish.

Ms. Day (web series The Guild, Red) plays Dr. Holly Marten, a quirky Department of Defense visitor to Eureka tasked with evaluating eager candidates for a special mission that has been given to Global Dynamics and will pit the town?s scientists against one another.

Mr. Wheaton (Star Trek: The Next Generation) returns as the contentious Dr. Parrish, who is in competition with Fargo to be selected to the mission. The two also vie for the affections of Dr. Marten, who unwittingly finds herself at the center of a love triangle.

Mr. Lee portrays Dr. Lee, an expert on the effects of gamma radiation, making him a candidate for the mission.

Eureka seems like any other cozy, Pacific Northwest town, but is actually a secret community of geniuses assembled by the government to conduct top-secret research. What they?ve unwittingly created is a place where anything imaginable can happen? and does. Eureka stars Colin Ferguson, Salli Richardson-Whitfield, Joe Morton, Erica Cerra, Neil Grayston and Niall Matter. Co-creator Jaime Paglia and Bruce Miller are Executive Producers and the series is produced by Universal Cable Productions.

And Eureka has officially been cancelled. SyFy changed their mind and changed their mind and have decided to not go ahead with the five episode sixth season.

Good call imo. there?s simply too much Sci-fi messing with their Syfy branding.

5 Seasons of great characters, run storylines and amusing hi-jinks. The show had a good run, and is simply too good to be on the trainwreck that is Syfy.

Now they have room for another Wrestling show or ?Reality? paranormal special.

The show was becoming too predictable for me but still sad news. Still have Warehouse 13.Looks like viewership numbers are that that great compared to the first half of the season even with the guest stars on the show. I always thought of guest stars as a hint that things are going really good (Glee) or not very good at all and just an effort to try to get new viewers.

Can't believe its been cancelled :(

Eureka was never good sci-fi or good drama but I really enjoyed it as the mix was perfect. That and they could deliberately get away with screwing with the history of the town by time travelling and just about getting away with it :D

Oh well I guess I will enjoy whats left of it

nope. not anymore. scifi cancelled that too.

no they canceled the 2013 6 episode stretch

After painstaking consideration, we have had to make the difficult business decision to not order a season six of Eureka. But Eureka is not over yet. There is a new holiday episode this December and 12 stellar episodes set to debut next year, marking its fifth season and six memorable years on Syfy. The 2012 episodes are some of the best we've seen, and will bring this great series to a satisfying end. We are very grateful to Bruce Miller and Jaime Paglia, their team of incredible writers, and an amazing cast and crew who have consistently delivered a series we continue to be very proud of. We thank the fans for their support of this show and know they will enjoy its final season in 2012.
