I'm not prolly gonna play it too much until a patch comes out. I only played it for about a half hour last night and I was really getting ****ed off at the fact there's no way to punish someone who TK's. 2 servers I was playing on had that constantly. One person would just sit outside spawn with a MG and mow down any teammates that spawned. That got annoying very quickly. I hope the patch they're working on fixes this somehow.

Looks like you haven't play the mod yourself or you must bel ucky to find one of those servers to have votekick and those kind of options, but now all servers have it.

you can turn this on through the in-game options as well. i think it's under "advanced" in keyboard settings.

Thank god. Yesterday I was walking around a map with 30fps! I mean, I get constant 80fps in CSS and DODS at high settings. It was lagging like crazy.

Hope they also fix the grenade bug that when your laying down and you are throwing a grenade and then you stand up quickly, it wont throw the grenade and you can't switch weapons either. You pretty much walk around with a grenade in hand until you get killed.

yeap. thats another fix.. In order to fix that right now though, you can just press the "z" key which is the default bandage key. It will get you "unstuck" from the grenade bug.

I love the level of details. The way the view and gun shakes when you change firing mode, the way the zoom mode works etc. But ultimately its actually too realistic for my personal tastes. No crosshair? 20 seconds respawn time and then, pop, hit by a pro with a sniper rifle. Another 20 seconds, pop, oops. Then "Reinforcements Depleted". And I don't like the way your limited to a certain weapon loadout. If someone beats you at it, your stuck with either RPG or shotgun. But Im sure these problems will be ironed out. For a beta, its outstanding.

No doubt its a good game and will be a massive hit. But I'll pass thanks!

That's why I'm not too fond of over the top realism, sometimes they forget ... It's still a GAME! You do not have the same advantages as in real life.

Should be a fine line between gameplay and realism.

The upcoming changes are nice. Croatia will be fun. Glad to see they are really pushing forward with stuff.

Suppression fire, I honestly think is going to hurt the game BAD.. I mean it's already in the game, to actually add a full blown effect of it, is to much personally.

GRS - thats going to be great, but I am really worried this will just kill everything.. In game lag, Website is going to be dead. I don't thnk they realize how much data that is going to be transfering back and forth from server to website. And for a free non paid team, with a free website? I don't think they will have the tools and resources to pull that off yet.

Player Customization - Thats going to be nice, although it better be done in the options menu and NOT in game.. We have people spending enough time in spawn just sitting there, much less waiting for people to pick skin color, glasses, etc..

Gore - NICE!! Give us gibs.. We need more gibs...

Effects - should point into the Suppression fire, etc.. I am worried about what effects..

It gets to a point where a dev team has to decide what takes priority - gameplay or realism. And honestly a game wouldnt be balanced, fair, and especially FUN, if its too real.
