david622
even though i'm a loyal opera fan, my backup browser is firefox. and with all of this hype about firefox 3's innovative features, it seems like it might be worth a consideration. can anyone sum up the features that will be added between current versions of firefox and Firefox 3? david622
lol perfect thanks! i'm not really sure why i never completely switched over to firefox; I love everything about Opera: it's small, efficient, and mouse gestures are amazing. And I tried switching to firefox once, and I found that even with the mouse gesture extention, I just wasn't getting the same fluid experience that I was with Opera. maybe the changes that will be added to Firefox 3 will finally convert me over, even after years of faithfulness to Opera. I've always felt that the ability to support remote bookmarks should have been implemented a long time ago.

O_o Anyway, there will be small changes, like Places and the new Page Info dialog and such, but the major changes are in the engine (uses Cairo now)

david622
haha yeah i've used that program before, but never found it all that useful. like, i use gestures CONSTANTLY in opera, but i found i didn't have much need to elsewhere. not to say it isn't a useful program, but i never really utilized it.
