Ozium
Ok, here's what I did to fix this annoyance... Open up regedit, and navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\AutoplayHandlers\EventHandlers\ShowPicturesOnArrival Delete the OperaViewPicturesOnArrival string. Next go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\AutoplayHandlers\Handlers Delete the OperaViewPicturesOnArrival key. Done! This works fine for me, but I have to add the old disclaimer...USE AT YOUR OWN RISK! If you're not really bothered, but that broken Opera Icon annoys you when autoplay opens, just go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\AutoplayHandlers\Handlers\OperaViewPicturesOnArrival Click on the DefaultIcon string and change "X:\Program Files\Opera\Opera.exe,0" to X:\Program Files\Opera\Opera.exe,0 (X being whatever letter that drive is assigned to) - Ozium
aptha
If you aren't comfortable editing the registry, you should: uninstall Opera; download the Classic Installer from the website; and install.
