Evera
I was looking around, and found the FF for x64. Unfortunately, it didn't work, but got me thinking there were more around. What would you recommend?
CrimsonRedMk Member Posted July 14, 2007 Member Share Posted July 14, 2007 You can try regular old Opera, but it's 32-bit, needless to say, it'll work.
lothodon
what are you looking for? there isn't going to be any speed improvements in a 64bit browser since your net connection is going to be the limiting factor in "speed".

Think of all the pr0n tabs you could have open if your browser supported more than 4GB of RAM.
Evera
Yeah, but I get some weird freezing/slow/cpueating firefox bug when i open too many tabs at once that lasts until i close firefox. Offtopic, but how do I fix this?
AltecXP
actually some pages on IE7 vs IE7 x64 do seem to load a litle quicker, and teh browser itself loads a litte faster. No your "internet speed" will not increase but the time from when the site gets downloaded to the time it is rendered on the screen will be faster.
