Just give a rough estimate of the percentage of your computer time you're using something that requires the internet.

I'd say about 90% for me.

And there's no 0, because in order to vote on this poll you have to be using the internet ;)

Chat to yourself? Single player games?

I'm around 90... sometimes I watch stuff I downloaded... and Photoshop, web development, music.

Apart from games and creating stuff (documents, pictures etc) I'm using the internet the rest of the time, so I chose 90%

About 80%. I develop on remote servers, usually background downloading, streaming music, etc. I guess the times I am not "using" my connection are gonna be when I'm doing graphic work.

well - I chose 100, because whenever I'm behind my computer I'm online on msn and various IM services and what not - ready to chat away when something happens... even when I'm doing graphics work or watching a movie or something...

90%... I'm a web developer, so my job requires an internet connection, and much of my free time (on the computer) is spent on here or other sites. I would have to agree with njlouch: graphic work doesn't use it. Even my classes use it because I'm taking them online as opposed to driving 45 minutes to physically go. So I would say 90% is a good estimation.

I picked 90% but it more like 98.43%
Have to shower some time, no? ;) j/k

I chose 80% since my job requires email presence while I'm working, I peruse Neowin and other sites when I'm not working and sometimes I take lunch and dinner.

I'd say 100%, I didn't realize this till a few weeks ago when my internet went out, everything I did on the computer

involved the internet, I actually had to stop being on the computer and go do something else, it was horrible

Annoying, isn't it? That's happened to me.

I chose 100% of the time because I am ALWAYS on IRC chatting away and ALWAYS logged on to various messengers. Plus, any games I play it's usually online and I go around browsing the web. Really, I use the internet VERY heavilly.

At home I usually dont get on internet much... 1stly becoz its damn expensive over here... 2ndly I have 1 day off in the whole week so I have to do allot of other stuff...

100%

All my computers are always connected to the internet, when i login into my ubuntu box, net is working. Its the same with Windows Vista.

Windows Live Messenger automatically signs me in and the weather gadget updates itself to show the latest weather feed.

100%?

My internet is always on. Whether I like it or not. It's always synching the time, updating news feeds, software getting updates etc.

Without a connection, i'd get errors bouncing all over the place.
