CloudEngineer
Aren't there enough Splinter Cell threads already???:unsure::blink::wacko: Yes there are, I wonder when they will all get merged...
Atom
depends if you like to hide and seek w/ the computer. you cant really kill that many people in the begining and you have to constantly redo missions because you accidently stepped into a water puddle. if you like to kill things and blow things up this really isnt the game for you. Malechai Veteran Posted January 3, 2003 Veteran Share Posted January 3, 2003 i'd say its worth your time to rent the game to find out if its worth buying. you could end up basing your purchase on what other people say only to find out you hate it. RossDundas Veteran Posted January 3, 2003 Veteran Share Posted January 3, 2003 I got sick of people moaning about the large number of splinter cell threads so i merged them all together. Smackdowns for any further moaners.
NeoSigma
Need some help here I meet the recommended requirements for the pc version of this game and it runs real slow and choppy, graphics settings are on the lowest possible. Any one else experience it? My System: OS: XP Pro SP1 CPU: Intel P4 2.4B GHz RAM: 256 DDR Video: 64MB DDR ATi Radeon 7000 DirectX 9.0a
Wam7
I would guess that your graphics card really isn't up to it even if it does fall within the recommended specs. Your processor is fine and 256mb more of ram would yield visible benefits but the 7000/VE just can't quite cut the mustard. Splinter Cell isn't the best coded game I've come across and the Unreal3 engine really does demand a lot of the GPU.
