Gundamdriver Posted July 31, 2007 Share Posted July 31, 2007 (edited) Hi. Recently I removed NetBeans and moving to Eclipse. I downloaded the *.tar.gz file from the Eclipse official website, extracted the contents, and placed /eclipse in /usr/share. When I try to start Eclipse by typing /usr/share/eclipse/eclipse in terminal, Eclipse reported that it cannot find JRE installed on my computer. I installed JDK in /usr/lib. I have already added the directory of JRE in [Eclipse]>[Preference]>[Java]... Could help me to solve the problem? Thanks in advance.
