The new iMac are cool, but why go with ATI? Their latest GPU is (2400,2600 or 2900) are slower than anything nVidia as to offer.

Apple always seem to chose the worst when it come to GPU chipset....

Most of those performance comparisons are using DirectX9 and DirectX10, Seeing how DirectX is a Microsoft product Apple dose not use it, instead they use OpenGL. Now I'm not sure if the ATI chips are outdone in OpenGL as well but maybe they decided based on OpenGL performance. Maybe not.

I like the idea of the Q&A.

Me too but someone better ask if the Mac Pro is being updated. Or they better put the store up for me to check!

"What about AMD chips?"

Steve: "We use Intel chips"

 :D

I think that right now, Apple made the good choice going with Intel. The Core and Core2Duo beat AMD....

Introduced multitouch on iPhone, what about for the Mac?"

Steve: "Makes sense for the iPhone, not sure it makes sense in the Mac. Classify that as a research project."
