A.Gabri
How can i use 2 profiles so i can try Gran Paradiso Alpha 7 and also still using my FF 2.0.0.6 ?
arrrgh
First create another profile by starting Firefox with firefox.exe -p After you have created the profile you can start Gran Paradiso with firefox.exe -P "Profile Name", to make Gran Paradiso always start with the new profile you can go to the shortcut properties and add the -P "Profile Name" to the target line. See: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_Manager

See: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_Manager NOPE - won't work that way. When you install GP Alpha 7 make sure you install it to a different folder than the default. I might go so far as to say in a different directory as well. What you'll end up with is going to be two separate sets of Firefox entries in your START menu etc. Just rename one so you know which is which and you're golden! arrrgh
We are talking about profiles, not install locations. Obviously you'll have to install it to a different directory if you want to have two different Firefox installs. Edit: To clarify, if you install Firefox into two different directories, they share the same profile by default. If you don't want to do this, you can follow the steps in my above post. Salgoth
Are you trying to use A N Y plug-ins, extensions, or themes with GP 7? If FF functions fine in safe mode then chances are it your extensions - and also what macel said - you've got to make a new profile for use with GP 7, something with other than the default name. Try and see.

Itachi17
nothing changed take off all the themes from Mozilla firefox 2. leave the default theme and remove Gran Paradiso and clean the registry. Reinstall and it should check from Mozilla 2 and the info, themes, and add ons would be on Gran Paradiso. It should start with default theme.
