if you want to make a graphic area 1 x 40, you would make your graphic area and then open up your config file and manually edit it

or if you already have a graphic area, under Graphic Area Settings, on the right is the option to Use Border

check that and you can set the border for top, bottom, left, & right of that particular graphic area

Both meters are for the Network. The top two are the current data rates (sending and receiving). I'm still working on those two. The bottom two are the TOTAL that has been moved across the net (sent and received). This meter is built in to samurize.

Anybody know how to configure the top two meters? Are they separate scripts altogether?

Here's my first crack at it...

How do you get the progress bars to separate like that into different segments?

ok is your computer names \\RICKYSCOMP\ - that is all the way through the config - as a start if that is not your computers names - I would use Notepad and replace that with your system name

Next ...

Does this sort of line ...

\\RICKYSCOMP\Network Interface(Realtek RTL8139 Family PCI Fast Ethernet NIC)

...

refer to a NIC in your machine? Cos that is in loads of the meters too - and again if that is not a) your machine and b) the NIC in your machine you'll have a problem - for the volume of changes that you are talking about - I would use Notepad to open the INI file and make the changes

In addition to the above kind of line - there are a few references to ...

Realtek RTL8139 Family PCI Fast Ethernet NIC

again the same applies

HTH (If not PM me or post here and I'll take another look)

PS I got the config going on my machine just fine

Ravager - download Judge's config - on one of the earlier pages - the meter is not one - but is five - with the first one show values from 0 -20, the second showing values from 20 - 40, the third showing values from 40 - 60, the fourth showing 60 - 80 and the last showing 80 - 100 - it is a really smart way of doing things - download his config and it'll all be clear(er)

 alright thanks alot. i changed the name to my name in the config and that got the cpu graph working. the bandwidth one is still not working though. i dunno if it's configed to my modem or not it look like the same one. here is a pic. i'm probably just doing smth really simple and stupid wrong but i've never used this before and have no idea how to set it up. thanks alot again for ur help. :p i modified this post so i'll have to put the pic in another one

Yeah that looks like the right card type ... for a NIC ... is that your modem though (do you have a modem and a NIC in there?) - have you tried just changing one of the meters via the config editor to match your machine and then openning the INI in Notepad to see the changes?

And now for me

anyone using the getquote script from the samurize site?  I put the script on both of my computers.  Somehow on my laptop, the quotes update and on my computer it doesn't.  Both of the scripts are exactly the same so are the configurations.  Whats with that?

Reload the config a couple of times. Sometimes my weather script would just show what was already written to the temp file and not show the current weather. I could reload it and it would sync back up...I don't know...I'm just a noob with this thing

    • Braves ad blocking shields are their own implementation separate from extensions. It won't have any issue continuing to work.
    • Same for me. I find Adguard in general just OK. Ublock Orgin Lite works and works well. I use it on Chrome, Edge, and Safari on MacOS and iPadOS/iOS.
    • I do not use the AdGuard extension. I have uninstalled both the uBlock and Stylus extensions, as well as the Tampermonkey extension, since I began using AdGuard for Windows 7 months ago. It does not use any extension APIs, it modifies traffic system wide using a local proxy. AdGuard performs all the functions of uBlock, as well as additional features such as HTTPS filtering, cosmetic (user scripts and user styles), as well as DNS. It works with any browser and application. I don't understand why you consider the desktop program to be useless...
