Well after some fiddling and slite modification! I changed my mind and went back to this simple design :) along with rainlendar! as my calendar! :woot:

What u think?

you can modify the extendedweather script to do the same thing...just replace the highlighted date with a circle character from wingdings in a large font...tricky but doable

Yes. I do  :) . I have no problems. Did you read the readmes that came with samurize? something about scripting support? Other than that can't be of much help since it worked for me from the getgo.

yup, i did. i installed the scripting thing from ms website (ms said its not necessary for win2k, i installed it anyways). it didn't really help, still crashes. sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. i managed to get it to run this so far, i guess its good enough. only crashed once when i reloaded the script 12+ times to look at changes.

Hey Tourmalet,

My girlfriends in Bedford at the moment. Staying in a flat in a hospital somewhere there.

Well that narrows it down a bit!

I'm actually in the main hospital at least a couple of times a week, so I'll keep my eyes open. ;)

You're very lucky.

Re: Weather Script

Great job on keeping it updated!

Dunno if there is a way around this, but whenever the wind is

From the Southwest at 16 gusting to 24 mph

or something like that, I get a type mismatch "speed"

I tried my hardest to figure it out, but with no luck. Thought maybe someone else may take a crack at it.

You bet I'm lucky. Not all Australians look like Mel Gibson, I'm more like Barry Humphries or Rolph Harris.

I dont remember the name of the Hospital but she's only there for a few more days anyway, then she's coming home. Her sister and her husband work in the hospital though. Both Australian's of course.

We plan to go back to England and practice after we graduate from the Uni's here. Plenty of well paid jobs over there I hear.

Noddy :p

Monkey Man. Should have read your post more carefully before posting my desktop. See post after yours.

Take a look at my desktop and if that is the sort of thing you want I can help you.

Should also have said a huge thankyou to Judge for keeping the weather script updated and for so many ideas on how to make Samurize work and for his scripts.

Yo tourmalet can you help me please?

Soo... This one I use.

One thing I really like having in my scripts is a "Disk queue", you should try it. Oh, and my res is usually 1600x1200, so I'm sorry if it is a bit truncated.

psst...system 'has' been up for ...

Does it excuse it if I say I'm Norwegian?

I never managed to get the difference between the two right.

Guess I'll just change it to "system up!" :p

there may be good payed jobs but its expensive to live over here

Anyone know how to get rid of the word 'samurize' from the taskbar plugin?

http://webpages.charter.net/joolsie/assets/SamBand.jpg

Judge

If you unlock the taskbar and right click on the divider at the end of the Samurize band section of the bar, the top option is "show title." Deselect this and the word vanishes.

Good chance to thank you for your help to so many people on this board.

What theme are you using. must say your taskbar look great!! :o
