Hi guys!

I'm hving some trouble with neowin_news and neowin_software script.

The script works just if i press the TEST SCRIPT button, else it do not "reloads", so I have to open config and click TEST SCRIPT everytime I want to check if there is some new messages in Neowin.

Do you have any suggestions for me?

Thanks,

Can anyone out there help me set up a calendar using Extended Calendar ?? I am using Samurize .84b, and any config examples for the calendar I have tried I can't get to work. I would really like help. I am new to using Samurize so sorry if this has been asked before, I checked the rest of this forum, but didn't really find anything to help.

I appreciate anyone who could help me !!!!

Thanks

I'm trying to get the [ExtendedWeather.vbs] [Wind] to work with "Moncton, Canada". Looking at the function, it's obvious it's not going to work but I don't know how to make it work. It gives me "Type mismatch: 'speed'".

Function Wind
	If checkright = "OK" Then
	Wind = GetHTMLValue("<!-- insert wind --> ","</TD>", "")
	If mph = false then
 ? spos = instrrev(Wind, "at ")+3
 ? chrs = instrrev(Wind, " ") - spos
 ?speed = Mid(wind, spos, chrs)
	nspeed = round(speed * 1.609344)
 ? Wind = replace(wind, speed, nspeed)
 ? Wind = replace(wind, "mph", "km/h")
 ?End If
	Else
 ?Win = "N/A"
	End If
End Function

And my [ExtendedWeather.vbs] [HighLowToday] isn't working either. "Invalid procedure call or argument".

Function HighLowToday
	HighLowToday = ""
	If checkright = "OK" Then
 ?HighLowToday = GetHTMLValue("<TD CLASS=inDentWhite10DayA5><DIV ALIGN=CENTER><B>","</B>", "")
 ?High = Mid(HighLowToday, 1, InStr(HighLowToday, "/")-1)
 ? Low = HighLowToday
 ?If HighLowToday <> "N/A" And High <> "" Then
 ? ?Low = Mid(HighLowToday, InStr(HighLowToday, "/")+1)
 ? ' Strip off trailing °
 ? HighLowToday = Mid(High, 1, InStr(High, "°")-1)
 ? if celcius then HighLowToday = round((5/9)*(HighLowToday -32))
 ? if celcius then HighLowToday = HighLowToday & "?C" else HighLowToday = HighLowToday & "?F"
 ?End If

 ? If HighLowToday <> "N/A" Then
 ? ?Low = Mid(Low, 1, InStr(Low, "°")-1)
 ? ?if celcius then Low = round((5/9)*(Low -32))
 ? ?if celcius then Low = Low & "?C" else Low = Low & "?F"
 ? ?If HighLowToday <> "" Then
 ? ? ?HighLowToday = HighLowToday & "/"
 ? ?End If
 ? ?HighLowToday = HighLowToday & Low
 ? ?End If
 ? ?Else
 ?HighLowToday = "N/A"
	End If
End Function

Does anyone have an updated version of ExtendedWeather.vbs?

I'm using 0.63c. As I matter of fact, I tried to load up my .ini files again in 0.84 a few minutes ago and it just doesn't work.

If I open the .ini files in the editor in 0.84, it doesn't work either.

I'm clueless... I first thought it was because of my old video card (TNT2 Ultra), but since you are having this problem too, I guess it's not.

timmy - the site is down pretty often, try again latah

for some reason, my weather isn't auto updating... i have the value set for 3 minutes in the code, but it won't update... i came home tonite and it was still the weather from when i left, even though it was 10 degrees cooler... if i reload it though, i get the new time... any ideas?

    • Same for me. I find Adguard in general just OK. Ublock Orgin Lite works and works well. I use it on Chrome, Edge, and Safari on MacOS and iPadOS/iOS.
    • I do not use the AdGuard extension. I have uninstalled both the uBlock and Stylus extensions, as well as the Tampermonkey extension, since I began using AdGuard for Windows 7 months ago. It does not use any extension APIs, it modifies traffic system wide using a local proxy. AdGuard performs all the functions of uBlock, as well as additional features such as HTTPS filtering, cosmetic (user scripts and user styles), as well as DNS. It works with any browser and application. I don't understand why you consider the desktop program to be useless...

    • Save 31% on Samsung T7 Portable SSD by Taras Buria During the ongoing memory crisis, where RAM and storage get extremely expensive, it is hard to find a good deal on an internal or portable SSD. While we are far away from 2024 prices, Samsung is currently offering a big discount on its 1TB T7 Portable SSD, saving you 31% or $85. The discount applies to the 1TB variant, which, although not record-breaking, is still plenty for all sorts of data. The drive uses a USB-C port for universal compatibility and high-speed data transfer of up to 1,050 megabytes per second. Samsung claims this drive is nearly ten times faster than a conventional hard drive, plus you get all the benefits of solid-state memory, such as better drop and shock resistance. There is also the ability to password-protect the drive, and you get extra peace of mind with a limited three-year warranty. The Samsung T7 Portable SSD works with all modern computers and tablets, including iPhones, iPads, Android smartphones, and more. And thanks to the two bundled USB cables (Type-C and Type-A), you can use the T7 even with devices that lack USB Type-C ports. The T7 Portable is available in three colors and four storage configurations, but unfortunately, only the 1TB Titan Gray is discounted: 1TB Samsung T7 Portable SSD - $189.98 | 31% off on Amazon This Amazon deal is US-specific and not available in other regions unless specified. • Plenty of nations have risen from the ashes of war and today they have high standards of living. Maybe the problem is that your government is run by corrupt and power hungry terrorist organizations that keep the country in the **** because all they care about is filling up their pockets and maintaining their power instead of actually managing the country for the benefit of everyone. Just ask Russians, North Koreans, Iranians, Cubans, Venezuelans and Nicaraguans, etc.
