ryaths looks just like my one except on the left, maybe it was.

anyway here is the My script, modified a lot and simplified from judges, and made on the right, not left. and improved with a cpu thing at the bottom. so basically almost identical to ryaths for hoever wanted it.

i see that you are running the neowin news script

i was wondering how you got it to update

the first time i run it, it will list the current news items, however afterwards they would stay the same, even though the next check time would change

I didn't have to do anything special to make it work really...

If it is getting the headlines and the next check time is working I would say it is working. If it is not working you will get a Permission Denied error or something like that.

I have noticed that sometimes it does not grab the newest stories even after a fresh check. But eventually it does grab the latest news.

And even though the next check time changes, that does not mean that the headlines should change. New stories are not always added between updates.

Set it up and let it run for a day or two to see if you get the stories throughout the day.

Just curious, but are you using a particular program to change the font style of the clock, or is it a part of the theme? If none of the above, how did you change it?

if you mean the normal windows taskbar clock, then thats changed with the theme. Its GloWorm.

Yeh i justed modded it so it was on the right hand side! The reason i didnt change it much is cause im not very good at creating new stuff with smaurize. For some dodge reason it just confuses the crap out of me! :blink:

as a note the best way to make a border is click the graphic area and select use border

in the samurize help file under TroubleShooting, it gives you detailed instructions of how to get them back

put it in your scriys folder (C:\Program Files\samurize\scripts) and use it like a normal meter

use add activescript on the metergo down to the bottem and select that script

All it keeps on telling me is that I have to make new scripts because posted scripts are for version 0.55 or older

I just downloaded 0.63 :(

i believe that error message refers to your config file

have you tried making a new config file? or trying one of the configs listed in this forum?
